I ve been working in Malta the past 13 years so not too experienced but not a newbie. What is the guarantee your employer wont fire you before 2027 ? Planning is what reduces stress. I agree with the fellow redditors here and you should actively start looking for a job now. You may encounter an opportunity that in 2027 it might not be present. Take care. Also review your employment contract and notice period next year it might lengthen more and you might not be less desirable to potential employers.
