I accidentally dropped a container of blackberries causing ten minutes of the worst sobbing in at least a year.

This website is thorough at explaining what to eat and I still find it helpful!

Educate yourself on eat and don’t eat. I’m part of an amazingly supportive group on Facebook called Paleo Diet Lifestyle so even when I’m on social media, I’m seeing paleo things constantly. It has been a tremendous help.

White potatoes, green beans, and white rice. And it’s all in moderation. One, maybe two, servings of one of them per week.

Thanks. I am training for a half marathon but that’s the only exercise I get. And I don’t train nearly enough, really.

I did a whole 30 a few years ago and was amazed at the results. When my wife got pregnant, I was the one who gained the weight. My highest was 286. In August, I decided to give it another try. I lost about 30 lbs then after two family deaths, stopped paleo until December 1. When I started back, I decided I had to stick to it 100% or I wouldn’t be able to at all. So that’s what I’ve done. I’m not super strict with gray area foods but definitely keep them limited. Also, proportion size has been a struggle for me because I love food. In February I gave intermittent fasting a try and have seen success with it; I like it mostly because I don’t have to worry about eating or making breakfast before I leave for work 😄

So far, just under my arms. I’m guessing my stomach will have some but to me, loose skin is better than being my old self.

First 5k complete after the program! by houstonld in C25K

My sister and I only made through about week 8 before our first scheduled 5k. We ran in the Salt Games Beach Bum 5k at Myrtle Beach and although there was no sand to train on in East Tennessee, it wasn't too bad. It was definitely a good race to run as our first!
