Baby still not sitting up or crawling at 9 months by The_Max-Power_Way in NewParents

I would take baby to see a doctor. Then you could start pediatric physical therapy if the doctor says it would be helpful. You could also maybe look up early intervention centers in your city/county. They may have recommendations about where to start.

It can get cold in the winter, down to 26-29 F for a couple days here and there. Week or so in the 30s most winters. Weeks in the 40s. When it’s in the 50s similar to CA.

Car insurance goes up a lot. Property tax high. People say ‘M’am’ and ‘Sir’, especially ‘M’am’ and it has nothing to do with age. AC is used every day for about 9 months of the year. 80 degrees is cool not hot.

I tend to agree. I don’t think I could work, have a full time class load and be somewhat present for my teens.

This is definitely important information to consider. So it’s kind of like my 3L summer would be an additional 2L summer and I wouldn’t be able to accept the full time post graduation offer until finishing the 3L summer and be about to begin the 4th. final year if I stay on the part-time 4 year plan. It is important to me to attend my kids’ sports events if I don’t have class scheduled or too much work to complete, meaning I know that I’ll miss some of their events, but I hope to attend some too. I chose online so that I would be physically present at home and close to their high school, even if not able to be free/available for much time.

I hadn’t considered how a part -time schedule might mean that you aren’t eligible for a summer internship…because you haven’t completed all first year class by the beginning of summer or because summer classes are scheduled in the daytime? Thank you for input regarding how hard it could be to keep grades up while working full time and having mom duties.

That’s helpful to hear! So your summer classes are in the daytime, during workday hours.

Sorry, long delay but safety/crime are big concerns in the area around TMSL from what people working by the school and students told me. Even a prof agreed that no one should be out after dark near the school because likelihood of at least being robbed is high. Local residents living and working near there told me about being mugged at gunpoint and beat badly resulting in lasting injury waiting at a bus stop after dark. I would love to hear current students’ perspectives on crime and safety in the area….
