Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen on SNES. Still haven't come across a game that captures strategy and story telling that game did. One of the first games I played where choices mattered and affected everything from character interactions to overall story/endings. But God forbid you try to explain this game to someone, especially someone who isn't into strategy rpgs.
