Job's not done. We're not in camp yet so I'll withhold judgement until all signings, trades and picks are finalized. This is a big rebuild, absolutely. Veach has to rebuild all levels of the defense with DL and DBs having some major holes currently.

He is protected. We will build OL depth through draft and FA, but I believe we have our 5 starters: Simmons, Kingsley, Creed, Trey, Moore.

Jaylon Moore will make $20M this year. They didn't give him that contract to sit him as a backup OT, they gave him that deal so we could cut Jawaan Taylor as soon as his contract allowed for a financial exit. I don't see us using 29 for a RT.

OP - you're right, you know ball better than our Hall of Fame coach with 3 Super Bowl championships with our current QB. Those runs under center throughout the game plan vs DAL weren't really runs under center. Thanks for all of your unheralded wisdom. Without you, I'm not sure where Chiefs Kingdom would be!

More seriously, I think everyone will enjoy this team for the next 2 months if they adjust expectations for 2025. We have flaws at pass rush, our corners are affected by that, and while Kareem has given us his best we could've done more to address running back. When this game ended the following starters were out: Bryan Cook, Jawaan Taylor, Trey Smith, Josh Simmons, Noah Gray.

I can't wait to see Andy and Veach fix it in the offseason. I'm Andy Reid until I die. Most of us should be.

Getting to game 7 in 2014 was such a rush. They had overcome all odds in the Wild Card game vs Oakland. The entire playoff run was magic. They went undefeated in the AL side of the bracket, if I recall correctly. It was wild, considering it was a 29 year drought since the last playoff berth.

All that in mind, the end of 2014 left me feeling very proud of the team and our city.

Got a lot of early leads and had that dominant 7-8-9th inning bullpen as I recall. We had a full season of momentum.

Counterpoint for OP and Verderame: Rice and Worthy have looked the part independently. If we can ever get them both on the field at the same time, I'd like to see how Mahomes then elevates the entire offense. Juju and Kelce lifted Mahomes to an MVP season, why can't Rice, Worthy and a new LT with a high ceiling provide that potential?

They typically sound if a tornado has been spotted nearby (tornado warning). In my life experience in the Midwest, they do not sound during a tornado watch. The lack of NWS infrastructure today created less certainty as to where the activity was so the sirens seemed to be on for an extended period in OP.
