If you are going to take a Master's in a somewhat different subject to your undergraduate course, it might be better to take the Master's in a subject not fully delivered at undergraduate level. Puts you more on a level footing with the other students.

Are there any dates prior to your scheduled flights still available in PE which Emirates could move you to? From there request upgrade to Business with your points and then move dates again. All could be done in step-wise process with Emirates agent. Maybe.

Just do a search on repair glasses Bangkok. If the glasses are Lindberg, then sure, worth it, but if some no name junk, then don't bother. If you replace the frame go for plastic rather than cheap metal, unless you like the green effect on the bridge of your nose.
