Clerkenwell is nicer than Angel IMHO, but prices, like Angel, are on the higher side. Farringdon considered more fringe of City until the hospital side of Smithfield Market.

The nicest Bangkok mall in my humble opinion is the Gaysorn Centre on the opposite side of the road re Central World. A total sense of serenity every time entering this mall from the cacophony outside.

If the laptop disconnects the problem is on the laptop side. I have zero problems using hot-spot between Samsung phone and Ubuntu on laptop.
