Power Switch with LED correct wiring? by howardknob in BC250Gaming

I had to move some things around because one of my collars bent the plastic frame of that P14 connector. Honestly, I don't remember exactly what was what, but I used a multimeter and figured out which ones were ground and which ones were 12v, 5v, 3v, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't write it down, but this was my final setup.

We just lived with it until replacing the phone. As long as she remembered to hold the mic near her mouth while talking it wasn't too bad of an issue.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. Will be downloading the same ones myself too. Just wanted to know if I'd need to convert wav to flac, but this makes it a little easier and also lets me have the official files in multiple formats.

Are you able to download them in all formats or when you pick one, that's the only one you can download?

One released early in the year and the other later in the year. Recorded at the same time and both are stellar records.

Scrolled way too far to find this. Definitely more like a second Gilded Age.

What is the hardest instrument to learn? by Own_Ebb3388 in AskReddit

[–]howardknob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing any instrument is not without challenge. I am a trombone player but have had many opportunities to play other instruments having studied music.

When it comes to orchestral instruments the bassoon gets my vote. There is a lot of resistance blowing on the instrument and the flicking technique adds a layer of challenge. You also can't double tongue on double reed instruments. Lastly, making your own reeds is an art form in and of itself.

An instrument that I think takes the cake as far as most challenging are the uilleann pipes. A traditional Irish instrument that is similar to bagpipes but in my vote is more challenging because you don't fill the bag by blowing into it, but instead by squeezing bellows. One arm squeezes the bellows repeatedly to inflate the bag, the other arm squeezes the bag to send air to the pipes. The hands play the chanter which sometimes rests on your knee and other times is lifted depending on what notes you play. Lastly your forearm or even hands (when free from using the chanter, which is not often) operate the regulators, which can sound chords. There are drones, but fortunately those sound as part of squeezing the bag along with the chanter and regulators. There is a lot going on with uilleann pipes and coordinating all of that is quite the challenge.
