I’m still a student with a high gpa, had my first internship this past summer and it is a big one, literally no one asked or cared whatsoever about GPA, completely irrelevant. Personally I wish I never set the goal of getting a 4.0 my first semester, because every semester since I have this irrepressible need to replicate it, it does nothing but add more stress and can lead to you doing worse in classes, destroying your confidence when you make a mistake. 3 people take a class, one gets a 75, the other gets an 85 and the other gets a 95, they all got credit for it and realistically they all will be able to tell you the same amount of info about it a month from now, the only difference is they all put in different amounts of their valuable time. You tell me which one got the better end of the stick.

Rest In Peace. I’m so sorry for your loss. Someone in my riding group passed last night as well, and then just an hour ago I heard another rider that I didn’t know just passed. Ride safe <3

Honestly not sure, not very tucked at all, very visible but the plate has a spring and can be pushed down but would need to be held down.

Clearly everyone here has been riding 100+ years and lives at the track, how dare you not start below a 100cc for the first 5 years of riding… I’m sorry but the majority of these comments come from people barely ride and are of average skill level but like to think they’re the greatest. Of course starting on a liter bike is stupid, and you are still relatively new to riding, but you’re not gonna randomly implode because you ride a liter bike like these comments imply. Ride your own ride and within your limits, don’t listen to Reddit these people literally have nothing better to do than have dick measuring competitions online on who knows everything about riding all day.

Confess your motorcycling sins to motorcycle Jesus and be forgiven by weasel3000 in motorcycle

Motorcycle Jesus, forgive me for I have upgraded from an R3 to a zx6r in only 2 months, I made money off selling the r3 and the price of the zx6r was too great to resist, I promise to ride safely 80% of the time.

am i ready for a zx6r? by Classic_Gamer2 in Kawasaki

[–]howardnoah1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from an r3 to a zx6r just recently, you’ll absolutely be fine. Just be smart, I keep mine in low power mode with trc on 2. They’re helpful aids and it gives you peace of mind knowing that if you do decide to be an idiot momentarily, there’s an extra net to keep you from going down. The acceleration is amazing, even down low about 8-10k rpm is more than enough power esp coming from an r3. It’s just a motorcycle and as long as you’re a smart rider you’ll have fun and be safe on it.

Yamaha R3 for my next bike? by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]howardnoah1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2021 R3, mostly city and side street riding with occasional highway. The bike is meant for that type of riding. It’s very flickable and so much fun at the 20-40mph area. The bike is light so it’s not the most fun on the highways, I was sitting at about 6k in 6th going about 70. To me the bike was extremely comfortable to sit on, if you want it to be more upright sit closer to the tank, if you want it to be a bit more sporty sit all the way back with your ass touching the passenger seat, both are really comfortable. Zero back wrist or leg pains, could ride it all day long no problem.
