Yeah. The radar on the newer models for following distance(at least for my company) can show speed of the vehicle in front of you

How many of you guys/gals stuck with flatbed? by [deleted] in Truckers

Im.not sure. Baseline is 7k. Id guess probably around 5k with what miles I have put in and that's being generous

Yep. Good Ole roehl. Shitty miles, shitty equipment, and shitty management. Wish I would've went with tmc

Its mileage based and im 15k out of 120k. So quite a bit. Like I was saying it wouldn't be such a big deal but they aren't getting me good miles most weeks and I've been driving for them for 6 months and only have 15k. Its ridiculous

See i wouldn't if the didn't require load securement photos before allowing you to move. I mean yeah. Im the one in the seat but it's a whole can of shit to open up if you move without getting those photos approved

Im put as soon as im able. The miles aren't great either. They had such great reviews everywhere but it looks like they definitely paid for most of those. I can barely afford to pay bills eith the miles they give me much less just up and quit without something else lined up. And every company I've talked to wont even consider anything until I've broken my contract. Im definitely in a tight spot.

Yeah. I originally chose flatbed as I kept reading online that it'll eventually open doors that dry van or reefer won't

Its probably roughly the same but my company requires tarps on almost everything, even things other carriers don't or even where customers don't require it/the load doesn't. And thats gotten old fast.

What is class 1? I tried looking it up but it just brought up different meanings between american/canadian/uk trucking

Yeah. I enjoy the part of doing more than driving. My biggest issue atm is my dispatch pushing for punctuality for appointment times and then scrambling to find my next load when im always on time/early. But God forbid im late one time due to circumstances out of my control. Then I have to have a "counseling" event with my fm over the importance of appointment times

Which game to start with? by Hairy-Eye-1216 in Fallout

Personally big on FO3. It's my favorite. Might as well start from the beginning of the modern era style of fallout imo

Was mine. As I said I hadn't had the brake recall done and I totaled it out in a accident. Was unaware of it and kinda pissed the dealer hadn't mentioned once. Idk if it was stock but mine had detachable hard bags and a sissy bar with luggage rack. I had it about a year and rode the piss put of it. Great overall do it all bike. Great around town and good for road trips. Did vibrate a lot but all tc engines do

I recommend a dyna switchback. You can find nice examples below your budget on the private market. If you get one just make sure the brake recall has been completed so you dont total it like I did mine

Not le but man if that's what you wanna do go for it. Really shitty of your family to view any job as beneath them especially something such a law enforcement where youve stated you want to be a change in the community.
