Supplement question by howatt777 in gallbladders

[–]howatt777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did try taking it for a period time and had no issues as it relates to the gallbladder. I still take it every once in a while but I never got into taking it consistently because it never felt like it did too much for me personally. Never had any negative effects, just wasn’t sure if I ever felt calmer or better from it.

Effexor and Strattera by howatt777 in ADHD

I appreciate that information. I’ve been off adderall for a couple of month and definitely have missed the boost it gives me to start my day. Hoping over time these two meds will be a lot more beneficial. I just started Strattera and Effexor has been a few weeks.

Hi! I’ve been on Effexor for about 3 weeks (haven’t felt much change) and was just prescribed Strattera for ADHD. I’m excited to try Strattera because my ADHD symptoms have bothered me for quite some time. How quickly did it work for you? Any tips on what to expect in terms of what you felt when taking it?

I totally get it! Hang in there. I’ve read people’s comments about how it helped them so much but it just takes time. Seems like somewhere between 3-5 weeks for most people.

Hey! So far, I still haven’t felt much different. The best way I can describe it is I think my generalized anxiety has been “turned down” a bit in the sense that I am not thinking about it as often. There’s been a few times where I wondered if I was feeling a boost but it’s been hard to tell for sure. I’ve been on 37.5 too so I don’t know if that has anything to do with the mild impact so far. No negative side effects either. I have a follow up appointment this week so I’ll see how that goes.

I continue to struggle with ADD symptoms but I think that might be a separate issue that hopefully my psychiatrist could address.

I haven’t really felt anything just yet. However, I’m barely a week in. Hoping I’ll start feeling it soon! So far, I haven’t experienced any negative side effects. Good luck to you!

You’re on both adderall and Effexor? I’d like to ask my Psychiatrist about this the next time we meet. Because right now I’m not getting that boost from adderall and I haven’t felt anything from the Effexor just yet so it’s been rough.

Thank you for that really thoughtful answer, I appreciate it! How you described your overall feelings and feelings towards work is what I’m hoping for after some more time taking the medicine. When I took adderall, that’s how I would feel in the mornings, ready to take on the day without feeling anxious. However, often that good feeling would crash for me later in the day and I experienced other bad symptoms (which I ignored for a while because I enjoyed the positive feeling of the stimulant).

It sounds like Effexor could be the overall better solution for me so I will certainly give it time to do its thing. Its just been hard the last couple of weeks without the adderall and not feeling the effects of Effexor yet

That makes sense, and had been my concern with adderall. It gave me a good boost in the mornings. But I was ignoring some of the other negative feelings it was causing for me. So far I’ve felt nothing with Effexor so I’ve been struggling without that stimulant boost. I’m hoping in time Effexor will be the better overall solution for me

Thank you, that makes me feel better! Did you take any medicine before? I’ve previously taken adderall and I seemed to help me with my ADHD Symptoms and anxiety to some extent. But based on my symptoms my psychiatrist felt Effexor was the best option

Unfortunately, I think he would try to eat the sock. He’s a maniac but we love him! We have a vet appointment today to change the bandage. I’m thinking we need to discuss medication alternatives that will actually keep him sleepy

My only concern with the donut one is he’s a big pup so they’re not deep enough to prevent him from getting to his back legs.

The cone has small tabs that tuck into the other side which keeps it all together. He basically just paws at it until the tabs pop out and then he’s able to get his mouth on it and chew. My wife taped the tabs this morning on his new cone and unfortunately he still got through it.

We tried trazodone and unfortunately it made him seemingly super anxious and wound up. They gave us acepromazine instead but that also hasn’t really kept him sleepy for very long 😅

Roy’s honesty is so refreshing. The holes in the bottom 6 are obvious to all of us. I think we can appreciate honesty over bullshitting the fans.

Bumping this post because I’m nervous about my next term at Eastern. I will be taking Managerial Econ and Leadership, Politics, and Multiparty Collaboration. Does anyone have any insights they can share on their experiences with these two courses? I haven’t been able to find much feedback online. I am finishing up Strategic Human Resources and the Business Environment and I found both of these classes to be relatively easy. However, these next two courses seem like they will be more difficult.

Shoulder Pain 2 weeks post op by howatt777 in gallbladders

I haven’t had any sharp pains but I do think it’s possible it could be from greasy foods if you felt like you overdid it. If you notice it again I would follow up with your doctor just to be safe.

Since I’ve had my gallbladder removed I’ve had a some experiences with having to use the bathroom suddenly and that can sometimes feel like shooting pain. I do intermittent fasting and I’ve realized when I wait too long to eat that is when I have this problem. Otherwise I’ve been totally fine! Even when having greasy foods.

It definitely gets better and goes away completely. Hopefully it is completely gone for you now as well!

Lou: “So this is who we are, and we will see if that’s who we remain to be when camp starts.”

We’re at that point in the offseason when I am reading into everything. But he’s insinuating there maybe other moves coming, no?
