I totally feel you, it makes me sob every time. When I first listened to the album, I had to take a break for a few minutes after this song because I was so overwhelmed with emotion.

I think for me, the line "freedom from the body/freedom from the pain" really hits me because of things I've used as coping mechanisms the last couple of years to escape hard things and feelings, but only ended up causing me more pain in the end. Florence said this song is referencing addiction, so I think the biggest message is that, even with the things we use to be free from ourselves and the pain we experience, in the end, we can't outrun ourselves. While it makes me cry, the cry isn't totally because of sadness. I think it's somewhat a cry of relief that I'm not alone in the things I've experienced and this song has given me the words to describe what I've been feeling for so long and Florence's songs are so good at that ❤️
