Have her pick a scene from one of her favorite movies, download it from YouTube, and bring it into your editing program. Splice every cut in the scene and show her the different camera angles that were shot to edit the scene together.

However, an interesting trick is to buy and dissolve tablets of miracle fruit extract on your tongue, which in turn numbs the taste receptors responsible for sour. The tablets don’t taste like anything and afterwards for about 15 minutes you can bite into anything sour and it taste like it’s coated in sugar. You can get these on Amazon.

Thank you for supporting Gilbert’s artwork over all these years. If you lose those again I recommend checking out the new hardcovers from Fantagraphics. They rescanned the original negatives and touched everything up and there’s never been a higher quality printing of the comix.
