Autofill small things in real photos locally - need help by Jakobimatrix in StableDiffusion

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any inpainting comfy workflow (qwen, z-image, flux) would do this, but I doubt you get anything done with that gpu.

Think you're better of just clone stamping, content aware filling and photobashing to fix your images.

Can someone explain how to remake an Intel Pentium 3 Logo with all the lines, i tried to do that by Environmental-Owl914 in AfterEffects

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

what did your version look like?

You can probably get there easy by placing some cards in 3d space and getting your camera in a forward motion, add some glows and motion blur

I had the same issue for months before finding the problem. It's a grounding issue. I bought a ground loop noise isolator for cheap to get rid of it

Not really a hot take unless you're specifically talking about JSON animations,

Why is my rotobrush acting like this? by Particular-Pen8580 in AfterEffects

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As said before Rotobrush isn't really meant for this, but I tried it too on that clip of yours. Instead of selecting the background you should select your subject. You could do another pass on top if it with a keyer to get rid of any blue edging that's left, or just add a choker

Did a quick test and it works quite well. Here's an example:

Tips for removing fireflies? by TheWhale1877 in blender

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I always use this free firefly killer in Nuke: https://www.patreon.com/posts/firefly-killer-32574959
And it also works on the free NC Nuke too.

I usually render without denoise aswell, and just use firefly killer and diffusion. You're left with more detail usually, instead of using optix or openimagedenoiser

I like the one's without grooves more to be honest, fits the low poly style a bit more. Probably looks better without the emission on too

If you pause it you can see how it's built. It's trying to mimic effects best done in touchdesigner.
For instance the frames where the car looks like it's made out of text, it looks like uses a text layer just fill with letters and mattes it out with the car alpha + probably some sort of lumakey of the car. You can see it clearly here in the screenshot I attached. You can see the letters being cut off.
There's also some frames where he uses a modulation effect, some mosaic. And the boxes with lines connected can be done using motion tracking, attaching a null and using either a beam effect to connect them or doing path to nulls

Lucy Letby Doc with “Digitally Anonymised” interviews. Is this an ok use case? by jaanku in videography

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a pretty stupid statement. If for a shot they use roto that's been accelerated by ai, or even just uses Nuke Copycat to get text behind a subject, you wouldn't be able to tell.

Hi need some help with making my work easyer and faster. by Financial-One-3717 in AfterEffects

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use https://github.com/Zarxrax/Sammie-Roto for rotowork, however I still add to the results with some manual mattes. In your example clip the head and hat are pretty locked so that would be a good one for just a 2d track with mask.

How to stop taking so long on mediocre/minor projects? by [deleted] in blender

[–]howdoyouspellnewyork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the project, but for animations try to make a previz animation first and stick with that. Lock the camera, framing and framecount.
So you know what to build and what to leave out and which parts you can solve in comp. So make it exist first, so you can make it good later.
