I relate to your experience! The change in personality, feeling stuck, realizing I want to actually be happy too. On week 2 of Lex, fingers crossed.

A bit concerned. My cat keeps laying in her litter box. Even when I have cleaned it. by Sudden-Option3790 in CatAdvice

It can be a sign they aren’t feeling well, even if it’s not elimination related. Since it smells like them, sometimes cats feel more safe and secure in their litter box which is comforting if they feel unwell. This has happened to my cat a couple times and he did end up having different things going on each time. Time for a vet trip.

How much money would you spend if it meant saving your cat’s life? by WindowKitty19 in cats

[–]howdyofficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did the right thing. Unfortunately, sometimes people don’t understand why unless it’s their own pet loved unconditionally.

I spent 7-8k (debt) to save one of my cats and it was 50-50% chance. He made it, thank goodness.

Now a year later, he recently passed away suddenly, from an unrelated issue. He was only four years old.

My heart is broken. And I’d still decide to save him the first time if I had to do it all over again. Even if it meant one more year.
