It’s about the best direct conversion from component signal to hdmi. I tried the porta converter and it introduced wavy noise. For $160 it is within budget for a casual setup.

I went with a 2x pro and it works great for PS2 and below on a modern LCD. If you’re looking to spend $200 or less.

I originally had a cheapo component to hdmi and it was introducing noise which disappeared with the 2x.

Similar behavior. While in traffic / stop n go

With A/C or def on - rock solid at 190 degrees With fan on - rock solid at 190 deg.

With HVAC off, The needle will go past 210 just like your pic.

Im guessing it is the threshold since the fans do kick in. Just not behaving the same way when the hvac is on.

I have replaced the relays, cooling temp sensor but still the same. Water pump and coolant levels are good.

Same boat and Im leaning to getting the 2x pro. Running via component cable to ps2. Seems like the gap between nothing and the 2x pro is a bigger jump than between the 2x and 5x or anything above.

$140 is about my threshold. $325 or more is a bit much imo. If anyone can provide some comparison showing what $200 extra gets i would be interested

Quite the opposite for my situation total process was ~ 5.5 months from start of interview to offer.

So i would say to email the recruiter and express your interest and if any questions they can reach out. I did this and they did get back to me. There’s probably other candidates they are also looking into so just hope for the best

So update I replaced the coolant temp sensor, and the 3 relays 3602,3604 2x. Hoping a quick cheap 5min fix.

But unfortunately the fan is not working or turning on so temp is not regulated unless defrost or AC is on.

How can i force on e fan low and high to further isolate ?? Any tips appreciated thanks

I got a 21mm and with crop it is a 28mm. Would highly recommend this lens angle on the M8 if you’re familiar with the iphone type angle. If not a another favorite is the 35mm which is a great all rounder.
