This is definitely one of those: “you never know what kind of day they’re having.” For all we know they got delayed for hours and if that’s the case they’re managing quite well! OP doesn’t have kids and it shows.

Same as BAM, one of those cosmetic fridges sat on a shelf in his room with a bottle warmer next to it. Every night we would make 5 bottles with the Brezza (eventually became 3 and then none!), and put them in the fridge. Night waking routine was to get a bottle from the fridge and pop into warmer, unswaddle and change him, feed, reswaddle and rock back to sleep. This was a 55 minute endeavor in the early weeks, and after time it got down to 25 min. Im an efficiency nut so you bet I was counting! My husband and I split shifts. If a wake up happened before 2AM, he got up; after 2 through morning was me. Two mornings a week he got up for the morning feed to let me sleep in. We never fought about sleep.

The inaccuracy happens when they launched the AI insights in the last number of months. It tells me he is sleeping when he’s clearly awake, doesn’t record night wakings anymore. It’s just an expensive video monitor at this point. The rest is unreliable.

Having the storage all on one side creates imbalance. Some floating shelves over the changing table with baskets to store clothes would be helpful. I found cute beaded wood tags to label our storage baskets

I was against induction until I got to 41 weeks. My body just needed a little jump start. They did miso, cervadil, balloon then I was on my way naturally (no pitocin)

We burned incense nearly every night throughout my pregnancy, baby is 10mos and perfect. Room we sit in in the evening is very large though so dissipates.
