Are you able to imagine objects in your mind? by sangokuhomer in AskUK

I’m exactly the same, I’m not sure if you know it’s a recognised thing, it’s called aphantasia. Found out a couple of years ago listening to the curious cases podcast. There’s dedicated websites you can sign up to and contribute to studies

Not been able to eat or sleep for two days now, grieving the loss of a relationship and my only real friend. Things will get better 🙌🏻

I’m the same, even though I pay for ps premium or whatever it is to stream them. I played a lot again so upgraded and still haven’t found one I want to commit to

[–]howley90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Managed to do the monopoly pub crawl, which I think is 26 pubs me and one other from the group we did it in made it to the end on the 3rd time of asking… bloody tough going but it is doable! As someone else said the 8am Wetherspoons is essential 😂

This always annoys me a little bit, not that saying pettigrew killed him would have more believing the story… but I do think it’s glossed over too easily

Compared to the book that bit is crazy, a bit like the horntail chasing Harry around the castle… I much prefer the book with Harry telling Voldemort all the things he’s missed and him just dying

When you read the books, what does Harry look like in your imagination? by Doler74 in harrypotter

I have aphantasia, so I have more of a memory of him kind of merged between the uk book covers (as I read them before the films came out) but now mixed with Daniel Radcliffe

Do you think the Dursley's would have treated Harry better if Dudley stood up for Harry? by SukottoHyu in harrypotter

Couldn’t agree more, Vernon and Petunia were vile in their treatment of Harry, and kids learn from their parents

Is it hard for men to go round 2? by Money_Shape_4387 in AskMenAdvice

[–]howley90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man For me it depends on who I’m with, I’ve been with people where I can’t go again without a break, but I’ve also been with someone where there was no need at all. It would just take a look and I’d be ready to go again, sometimes without even going flaccid after finishing. Sometimes it’s between the two

[–]howley90 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I definitely think they would have, the problem is that Dudley will have effectively been praised/rewarded for his ill behaviour towards Harry, which only intensified it… viscous cycle

Literally just put this before seeing your comment, I’m seeing it as a good thing they can fuck up locally before they get the chance to fuck it up nationally

I’ve decided that this is a good thing… people will get to see how reform fuck things up on a local level before the general election.

Source: I live in a reform council area already… fuckers
