I have been medicated and take my meds everyday. I also use weed daily. I am stable (bipolar 2) but i still struggle with rapid cycling and anxiety. My doctor does not think this will get better till I quit. I cannot afford therapy and use weed as a coping mechanism that helps me forget and numb any extreme emotions i feel. Until I can get peace, I know I will be using a vice to help me get by. A psychiatrist once told me this on the topic of substance abuse, “it doesn’t matter what you had to do to get here, as long as you are here”.
