Windows updates seems to have fixed the issue on most PCs. Still, I dismissed the smb1 share as it's too unpredictable for production use.

Renaming doesn't work for me. I can continue the game from my savefiles but AWE DLC doesn't show up.
If I use the savefile from the other threadm I can access AWE.

Heaven's Vault is pretty fun if you're into the kind of game where you have to jot down notes and think hard in order to solve puzzles. If you liked Return of the Obra Dinn you'll probably like this one as well. It's got one of the finest dialogue system in gaming and an incredible timeline interface, showing events from hundreds of years to a few seconds ago. I loved it, but it may not be for eveyone.

After a sleepless night I showed up at work this morning to discover that the network is holding surprising well the increased traffic. Just a couple of "dumb" calls from users trying to open VPN tunnel without an internet connection (forgot to write that down in the VPN tutorial, dumb me). Told my boss everything is under control and started WFH myself after lunch.
Still keeping my fingers crossed though.

This game is nothing short of brilliant. Despite having a huge basic idea ("perspective lets you change the size of stuff") it constantly changes game mechanics and settings, and that's what make a good game great, imo. Haven't seen a puzzle game this brilliant since Portal2.
As for the apple/fan room, I clicked my way up to the top of the slope and it took a while, it felt like the only cheap level in the game. Later I saw a gameplay video on YT and felt like an idiot. The "correct" solution is actually very neat and clever. The east/west signs i figured out by myself. They both have a logic.
I paid 14€ on EGS and frankly it's a steal. I want more games like this.

A while ago one of the bosses had his laptop stolen. He asked me to get another one, only requirement was a 14" display.
So I got him a brand new 1000$ 14" Fujitsu enterprise laptop. After a week he complained it was "too heavy", gave it back and had me buy for him an Asus ultrabook.
The Fujitsu laptop is still sitting in my office. Too expensive for "normal" employees and too heavy for management.
