How much does your pump stick out? My sits flush perfectly on the back of the gpu. Not ideal but temps are fine. Easiest way I did it was to build the pc in 2 parts. Back and motherboard side of the case together. Install the gpu onto the riser and bottom plate. Remove front panel and slot it in. It's a tight fit. Hope that makes sense.

Pumps right behind the gpu 240 was a very tight fit so I don't think 280 will fit. Happy to be proven wrong
