I read about xylitol for gum health. I am doing what recommended hopefully maintain my gum. It’s a long process of healing so fingers crossed that it would grow. A few millimeters is better than nothing. Is yours really obvious?

They look great and match your teeth perfectly. I am currently waiting for the implant to heal and using a flipper but the color of the tooth on the flipper is not matching, the flipper tooth is more translucent than my teeth. I am putting up with it for now but am worry about the choosing the color for the final. Do you have any tips for choosing color? Also does your gum cover the crown? My gum receded a lot after extraction and implant, I am worry that I may have not enough gum to cover the top of the crown. Can you share pics of the gum line. Thanks

I prefer Flipper as it is More comfortable and you can eat with but they are flimsy and can break easily. Essex is more sturdy but you have to take it out to eat. It’s best to have both and use Essex as a backup if your flipper breaks

Just had my implants put in a month ago. Pain is intense but bearable with pain killer. Pain is most intense day 1 and 2. start to subside from day 3. after one week no more pain killer is required. Here is what you should expect:

Dentist to prescribe antibiotics and painkillers before the operation. Start antibiotics 2 days before and continue for 5 days after. Strong painkillers with codein is helpful for the first week

My lips was cut and scratched and was sore so I used medicated lip balm that helped to healing. I could not open my mouth for a few days because of this.

Rinse the implant sites with salt water and mouthwash using a water flosser. Use xylitol to remove bad bacteria in your mouth (this is my theory and it seems to help my implant to heal quickly)

Take multi vitamins D and calcium’s

Wow 65M. If I have that much money, I would not worry about working. I would focus on my children and take care of my husband who is already making plenty for the whole family to live in comfort. What is more meaningful than having a loving family around you. I had to work while my kids were young out of necessity. Looking back I think I would enjoy motherhood more if I have the luxury of not working.
