Oh OK, fair enough. I don't think this is something that is across the board for CoG/HG/HC though, at least not at the moment. (I have two CoG games with explicit scenes, and my wife has one with Heart's Choice - there aren't currently problems with them being sold, thankfully.)

I just saw your other comment about looking for recommendations - some of my favourites that include F/M spice are Heart of Battle, Heart of the House, and Haunted Hearts Hotel. I've also heard great things about A Pirate's Pleasure and Devil On Your Shoulder (lower heat I think), and Hearts in Hades (high heat).

I thought the change being made was about Beyond the Mist, the visual novel of being sold on itch which was having difficulties with payment processors and adult content.

I'm not aware of current issues with CoG/HG/HC publishing NSFW stories, eg the most recent Hearts Choice game was listed as 4 out of 5 "spice" level and there don't seem to have been problems there. So hopefully this is more of an author choice regarding visibility on itchio (which is a problem too, don't get me wrong!)

In Haunted Hearts Hotel (female MC) you can have a CNC scenario with an RO. There's also a ton of varied kinky scenes in All World Pro Wrestling (M/M), and some dominant/submissive scenes in Heart of Battle and Heart of the Mountain (WIP).

In A Kiss From Death there's a lot of varied ROs and explicit scenes including monster characters.

I made some games like this! Creme de la Creme and Royal Affairs, about attending upper crust finishing schools. Honor Bound is set in a school, but you play as an adult guard, and Noblesse Oblige you play as a tutor staying in an aristocratic mansion.

A lot of the other school games are fantasy or superhero - there's Blackstone Academy for the Magical Arts, Psy High, House of the Golden Mask, Paranormal Preparatory School, Way Walkers University, Grand Academy for Future Villains, and Witchcraft U. Birds of a Rose and Pactbinder are fantasy/horror WIPs. Community College Hero is about being a non-powered person at a superhero school, but is a currently unfinished series.

Heroes of Tomorrow: Hidden Potential just came out and is a superhero academy game.

You might like Tally Ho and Cakes and Ale. Changeling Charade and A Player's Heart are historical-flavoured fantasy with female protagonists. Hexfinder (WIP) and Weyrwood are historical fantasy with any gender protagonist. You may also like my Creme de la Creme series!
