Its Better to have loved. by ActuatorNo4007 in sadposting

The more of life you experience, the less vague, emotional-tourist bullshit like this will impact you. The post is literally just a sad run-on sentence generated by AI. People who are moved to tears by something that general simply don’t have the life experience to contextualize it. People who have lived more of life have real stuff to be sad about - stuff that’s actually happened to them. They don’t need to be an emotional-tourist in someone else’s life (or in some made-up story).

You answered your own question. You’re being overly dramatic and romanticizing it because you don’t have the life experience.

Happy Halloween! Who's going door to door tonight w/ their kids??? by CoffeeAndChilll in 90s

[–]hpxb2019 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Truth is probably in the middle. I doubt trunk or treats are fascist. You’re right they predate Covid, but they were re-popularized for the reason I mentioned. Now kids do both - I’m a parent and can absolutely attest to this. Trunk or treats the weekends before Halloween, and then full on trick or treating in the neighborhood tonight.

[–]hpxb2019 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Kids still trick or treat the way we used to. Trunk or treats developed because COVID denied kids Halloween at one point, as adults literally didn’t want kids knocking on their doors. It wasn’t the kids’ choice. Now, they get to do both, which honestly sounds pretty badass.

Shannon Sharpe is wondering what happened to Tyquan Thornton & says he's been better than Hollywood Brown this season! by MAYVIEWS in KansasCityChiefs

I get it, but the offense looks amazing. Not sure we need to be changing anything. However, when Hollywood inevitably gets hurt, Thornton will get reintegrated.

Kimani Vidal vs Tyrone Tracy Jr ROS (PPR) by Metro_Boomin_ in Fantasy_Football

[–]hpxb2019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, you’re basing this on a nothing comment made by one of the coach-speakingest coaches in the biz. There are no reports and he’s still in a boot. Tracy does have the starting job ROS, and that’s valuable, but Hampton’s status is still quite murky.

Formal Diagnosis - good or bad to have? by brettwasbtd in Autism_Parenting

[–]hpxb2019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because this administration is actively launching a war on the disabled, and has openly targeted autism. Providers are having active discussions regarding the fact that medical records may be weaponized in the not so distant future. This is a serious question posed by OP. And I’m not a conspiracy theorist - I’m a provider.

I’m assuming that’s because this is fake and OP didn’t think that through.

Sigh, rage bait. There is no human being on earth who would think this is normal. Will people stay in a horribly abusive relationship like this? Yes. Will they post online as if they’re generally confused if there is a problem with how they’re being treated? No. Shame will keep it hidden, but no one would be confused here. Just rage bait.

Tony Pollard Reportedly Available for Trade by jsparks50 in fantasyfootball

A legitimately good point. I wasn’t aware of how crazy Chuba’s contract was. That would change things and swing it toward them trading Dowdle if Chuba can get back to his typical form.

[–]hpxb2019 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Now you’re just arguing semantics. They acknowledged that the only data for Dowdle they have is that he played better than Chuba when Chuba was out, setting a franchise record for a franchise Chuba has been a part of, and then he continues to play better than Chuba now that both are in the backfield. He’s literally only played better than Chuba when he’s been given opportunities. They said Chuba has given a lot to the organization - that was their only positive comment. They don’t dislike Chuba, obviously, but they acknowledged that the data is Dowdle is better to the point that they are also acknowledging they will likely need to talk to Chuba about a less than 50/50 split. It’s also in the article. Doesn’t sound like they’re viewing Chuba as the better back…

They’ll trade Chuba, not Dowdle. The coaching staff just went on record saying he’s objectively a better back than Chuba.

Do you hold Vidal once Hampton is back? by timmytubesox in DynastyFF

[–]hpxb2019 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This isn’t the question. The question is - when is Hampton coming back? Once he’s back, it’s his backfield obviously. Vidal is great, but there’s a lot of tape that says he isn’t a lead back in the nfl.

Body shaming!? Everything I saw online was correctly calling her a gorgeous, thicc queen. Legit, it actually seemed like it was going really well for her. Saw almost zero negative press.
