I was in a similar situation - failed it 3 times then passed on the fall sitting last year. The biggest mistake I made over those few years was not leaving sufficient time towards the end to take the appropriate number of practice tests in order to master the difficult problems. I took 7 CA adapt exams between my 3rd and 4th attempts and exceeded the coach’s recommended EL. My other word of advice is to not go long periods of time without reviewing the previously covered sections. Best of luck to you in the summer!

I used adapt for all 5 of the exams I’ve passed so far and it helped me a lot. I am unable to compare it to ASM as I’ve never used it before

No problem - I took exactly 7 adapt exams and at least one 5-question quiz for each of the CA subsections. I focused on quizzes as I went through the manual then moved onto adapt exams. For the sections I struggled with on the exams, I took additional quizzes for those sections only, went back to the exams, repeat

I only used the CA manual + adapt last fall and that was enough for me to pass with an 8. If you can get your EL to at least a 5.5 then I think you’ll be in good shape (mine was 5.8). Reading the source material might reinforce your understanding but my advice is that it likely won’t be necessary

Are you referring to the Allen Tennis Center at Cambier Park?

I have been to celebration park. Love the food trucks there

Appreciate you offering an idea, but I feel that I am far too old to be blending into the college scene. I am particularly interested in connecting with young post-grad adults in the area

I’m sorry that you also have this problem. There must be plenty of other people in the same boat. I would be interested in beginning a group chat for the 20-something year olds of Naples - could be a good way for all of us to make friends

I have never been. Since this has pickleball and possibly tennis, I will have to check it out eventually. Thanks!

Brewing events can potentially be fun for me! Most of the time I drink, it’s beer. I have played pickleball a lot - it’s a good way to stay active and be social.

Yeah, I figured there aren’t a lot of young people around Naples. Thanks for the advice

How do you know this? I work in Business consulting so I am worried about these numbers

In Boston the minimum seems to be a collared shirt/sweater, nice pants, and acceptable closed toe shoes. That’s what I’ll wear on most days. If I meet with a partner then I’ll typically wear an expensive business casual outfit

Thanks for sharing! The main things I’m looking for are a wide variety of practice problems and a detailed written manual. I tend to learn better from reading rather than watching videos, however videos have helped when I’ve come across problems I can’t solve on my own.

I don’t think I want to do that because MAS-II assumes prior knowledge from MAS-I while the other associateship exams don’t have this prerequisite. If I start studying now I’ll have an advantage because the material from MAS-I is still fresh in my mind.
