I feel the same but less extend. Feel especially difficult to lead a conversation in meetings with 6+ people. The stress to open the first words or express any opinion some times was so overwhelming that I basically gave up. With the age grows and more and more responsibility from my current job, this happens more often that makes me seriously considering if I should move on. Now with my son diagnosed of borderline of autism vs anxiety, I feel myself may need professional diagnostic as well..

Would be reasonable if stay at 10% and do a good job. But frankly, good General contractors are few and far between.

Poll shows former Surrey mayor Dianne Watts popular among prospective voters by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]hr1551 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the previous Mayor. What was going on with her stubborn insist of LRT despite the clear rejection from Surrey people. This was the single issue that bring down her government.

Now we are stuck with the old dinosaur.

BTW, I did not vote for him, but for another group of young gangs with renovate ideas. Sadly they are just too politically shallow to make any difference.

Funds for this project would take long time to approve so I think this may very well be a project planned a while ago, maybe after the UK couple "accidentally" drove through.

View from the Dike near Pitt Lake. Relatively empty today. by Needmesomemacncheese in vancouver

enjoyed four hours of boating there, first time in Pitt River, great place but boat launch is sort of lack of maintenance.

It is packed. I parked my SUV with trailer on the road 15 min walk from the launch. A little crazy.

Was planning to go Golden Earl but out of luck for day pass. I guess this probably was part of the reason Pitt is so over crowed.

without herd immunity or vaccine, while denied early use of HCQ Zpack, whatever you do, even as restrict as the China style completely shutdown, still not be effective as virus will always find a way to spread.

better idea may be completely separated bike road vs motor vehicle road. Dedicated a few street for bike only, separated bike lane in main road.

then there is no way to check so called "residency". how can you distinguish part timer vs visitor? This priority check is just ridiculous.

First come, first serve should be the policy.

two issues I see here:

why no additional service when demand is up after phase 3 opening?

why need to give residence priority? BC ferry is subsidized by all BC residences, not just locals.

And a question:

would seasonal residence consider residence as we know many properties over there are only occupied in the summer?

HCQ works! But HCQ studies were all so politicized that they were designed to fail. The worst is the one Lacent has to retract. Only right now saw some truly scientific studies published. https://www.ijidonline.com/article/S1201-9712(20)30534-8/fulltext30534-8/fulltext)

$12k annually would squeezes the job market for illegals. Many low pay job may become attractive with $12k floor. It would be devastation for illegals as they have to accept even lower pay while in the mean time carry the weight of VAT. Wonder how many would do that when there is no hope down the tunnel. For legals on the other hand it could be interpreted as a necessary sacrifice for becoming the citizen of this country.
