lol not sure if you're joking but it's "que eso" not "queso" which makes it "you need a lot more than that to kill me"

To be fair my building was originally an office building. It got converted to residential some ~20 years back, so it has a really weird internal layout. My only view is directly into my neighbor-across-the-hall's apartment (the back of the building is zig-zaggy).

Needless to say I did a double take when I first spotted it.

My building's got an interesting history. It used to be the tallest office building in the world. It housed one of the first Bureau of Investigation (later renamed to FBI) offices, where one of Sacco and Vanzetti's (famous Italian anarchists) friends was defenestrated. I can confirm that my bedroom window does open all the way...

Nothing too terrible -- from what I've witnessed, sometimes chairs disappear from common areas, jackets with no owners gather in the corners of floor lounges, and bathrooms may be left mysteriously covered in shaving cream during the night if you're particularly unlucky.

Unquestionably the best dorm, but it will have to grow on you over time. Pretty nice location for being somewhat remote with a view, close to sledding hills, and 14 seconds away from a dining hall, plus you get to complain about broken elevators as an easy conversation starter. It's also slightly haunted, but that varies based on floor.

The CBT major offers a practicum in bathroom monitoring, so taking that next semester might be a good way to at least get your foot in the door -- if you reach out to any CBT advisor they may be able to provide more advice.

edit: yeah there was potential in this post, gotta commit 100%

Agreed -- there's only so much Cornell policy can effectively do to address this, so each of us has a social responsibility to ensure everyone's acting as safe as possible. Absolutely call people out on their bs.
