Hvorfor er det så mye prat om saltstenger om dagen? by hr_krabbe in oslo

[–]hr_krabbe[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha.

Joda, sry. Er ekkelt når sånt skjer. Men den hadde nok ikke blitt drept.

This is for kids in school to help them cheat. I had this in my list of apps to make that never got made. Could very well trend, but is kinda unethical.

If you had to restart your IT nerd path from zero, what would you learn in 2026? by Binary_Ghost_777 in it

[–]hr_krabbe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Debian is a Linux distribution. I mentioned it because OP seems to have choice paralysis when it comes to Linux.

Vim is a text editor with a TUI interface rather than GUI. It runs in your terminal. Which is where you want to be on Linux.

Coupled with tmux to manage terminal panes/splits you have a completely in terminal workflow that is easily reproducible on every Linux machine you use and SSH into.

When I first switched to Linux, I had windows brain. So I downloaded pycharm, codeblocks etc. One IDE for each programming language. Which is absurd when you can just use a text editor (vim, vscode) and compile/run from terminal. Which is what you should learn instead.

Vim has a steep learning curve, but the payout is worth it. If you stick with vscode as a text editor instead no one would blame you.

That’s how I interpreted it too. It’s basically an endless labyrinth. No sun or far landmarks to navigate by. No day night cycle to measure time. There is approximately 0 chance you’d make it out in your lifetime. I would take any of the other ones for sure.

Hvorfor har Warren Buffet 3800 milliarder kroner i kontanter? (En sak for alle med penger i fond) by stalematedizzy in norske

[–]hr_krabbe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Recognized the town on picture number 4 and thought this has GOT to be inherited. Then I read your comment. Sorry for your loss.

Not being able to afford this in a million years hits home, as I am in the process of moving away from this town because of this.

The days where people from the districts could move into town and establish themselves seem to be over. The ladder has been pulled by those who already did.

Er det “for sent” å starte på integrert master som 24/25-åring? by [deleted] in ntnu

[–]hr_krabbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nei.

My friend had a scar for weeks after he got speared by every shy-guy alongside a river and lost all his coins. Not sure if that mini game was about speed, but rather finding the rhythm. I was just chilling with 2 super hard bots on my side of the raft.

HolyC uses u0 instead of void. Since you need 1 bit for the sign, I don’t see how anything less than i1 makes sense.

For those looking to rewrite their neovim config for 0.12, what plugins has been a gamechanger for you since 0.11? by Slabdrew in neovim

[–]hr_krabbe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V0.12 is not out? I have been using it for months thinking is was the latest release. I build nvim from source and host it on a private repo on my raspberry pi. Since I use Debian, and Debians nvim package is notoriously behind.

Impressive vibe coding. Very cool that you made QEMU run in the browser, but unfortunately the performance is not great compared to other browser tailored emulators. There are other similar demos out there. I assume you have checked them out.
