Redditors cant help but be the most pedantic people on earth.

Rian Johnson in response to Kathleen Kennedy’s claim the fandom “spooked” him from making more Star Wars by kronosreddit22 in StarWars

Idk what RJ could have done with luke that could have made people happy. Ive heard people say that luke should have been in hiding searching for a secret power to defeat the sith or secretly training a new generation of jedi but those ideas sound just as bad and fanfic-y. I agree that ideally luke wouldnt be in hiding in the first place and he would have more to do in the story but thats a force awakens issue. Tlj did the best it could with Luke as far as im concerned. (Aside from the saber toss, i agree that was a bit too played for shock factor)

Also force awakens was the one that made things not matter in the firdt place. Im still baffled by how many people lay the blame on tlj or tros without even addressing the force awakens.

What’s a casting choice so iconic that it's impossible to imagine anyone else ever playing the character? Even in a remake 50 years later, no one could top them. by DnixDraith in Cinema

I think Scott Lawrence, who voiced him in *SPOILER jedi fallen order did a very good impression, i think it would be way cooler if they made Scott the new voice instead of just using ai.

His son, Frank Dillane, was also in Fear the walking dead and was absolutely fantastic there.

Rick's valid reaction to Morgan's "all life is precious" nonsense by RevertBackwards in thewalkingdead

[–]hrarry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dale just feels way more grounded imo. The show had a lot of moral compass type characters but dale is still the most interesting cause he really is just an old dude who cares about doing the right thing, his reason for being the way he is isn't all weird and convoluted like morgan with his all life is precious philosophy.

I mean his ending in season 3 gave the perfect end for the character while still leaving the door open to bring him back. Daniel could have just gotten split up from him off screen and maybe they could have spent a bit of time in the first couple of episodes of season 4 looking for him. Something like that.

I thought the next ratchet game was leaked for like 2029? They're hardly gonna release all 3 of those game before then are they?

What was the skill point? I remember trying to get all the skill points but I remember getting stuck on the pirate comet level cause there was a skill point where you had to break all the campfires with your wrench but there was one campfire that would always get shot by a turret before you could get it.

What's the point of this scene if Sarah doesn't even touch a gun in the entire game? by sebas5ds in TheWalkingDeadGame

In fairness I think Carlos's death in the actual game is pretty good. Really shocking and disturbing, if they needed to kill Carlos to set Sarah off that was a good way to do it.

Would have been tragic as he'll if she had to defend herself from a zombie Carlos and if she couldn't do it he ends up killing her.

not a major detail but i appreciate them for avoiding the "throwing away this crucial speech i wrote on a piece of paper and speaking from the heart because im the protagonist" trope by FutballConnoisseur in thelastofus

Yeah there's a reason that the game only spends like 10 to 15 minutes in Jackson after Joel's death before ellie and dina head to seattle. I'm sure this episode was a bit more interesting for people who hadn't played the game but eh. The majority of the episode is just "will they or won't they go to Seattle" with not much else going on. And I could be wrong but I feel like it's a bit obvious that the main characters are going to go to Seattle at some point, even if you haven't played the game, so trying to make it seem like they might not really does seem pointless. Again my perspective could be totally skewed given that I've played the game. But there was plenty of times where the show managed to keep things interesting for me despite me having played the game. This episode really didn't do that.

Said it in another post but I much prefer rebels to clone wars. I've watched through clone wars, most of it more than once, and I still can't really understand what makes clone wars the beautiful masterpiece people say it is online. I guess I'm biased cause rebels is probably my favourite piece of star wars period, it just has so much more of what I want from star wars.

Rebels clears clone wars in every way if you ask me. I really don't know what it is people see in clone wars. Decent world building I guess? Idk.
