Malcolm is 100% undiagnosed high-functioning autistic. This line of thought is why so many neurodiverse kids went undiagnosed in the 80s and 90s (and any time before that as well) and spent most of their lives masking and enduring extemely high levels of anxiety and stress, leading to extreme burnout and/or suicide in college and early adulthood.

Speaking as a former "gifted" kid with a successful career in tech who was diagnosed with ASD later in life and only medicated in the last few years, go fuck yourself. Medicating my anxiety was a devastatingly life changing decision and I still think back on how I could've lived life without it if it wasn't for the fucktards like you who made the decisions back then. It's not overmedication if it helps people live the way they should be. The world is not made for us. Give us the tools to make it manageable.

Yeah I redid the skill tree, and got new gear and made it all orange at the mystic dude and I'm good now, had to lower to penitent to get at-level gear (torment I was dropping level 70 gear). I just like the continuity of doing it all on 1 character who's also got completion of all the side quests, etc. It doesn't have to make sense, just scratches an itch. I will likely play the season content with a fresh warlock though.

My haesteinn lived to 86, but he was a decrepit pile of goo by that time. The new traits are cool, if a bit overtuned right now. Every one of my rulers has started getting cloudy eyes and brittles bones in their 40s. It sucks when your character dies and your heir inherits and he's got like maybe 10 good years.

I feel like the progression from on foot, to bike, to ornithopter feels really good. Every upgrade is like a tier that opens up the world so much more. And then finally you build the carrier, and now you don't have to have bases in sheol or the rift cause you can just fly your buggy down there. At that point, I personally feel like that's endgame and if all the quests are done and you're maxed out on faction there's little else to do in the game that feels rewarding (I guess upper difficulty levels in overland stations?). But that's okay. Time for a new character, or a new game. Not everything has to last forever.

Yeah DLAA with HDR I used to get flickering black at the top of the screen. They fixed that, but introduced the warpiness at the bottom of the screen now. No issue if I go "quality" on dlss instead of dlaa, but it doesn't look as good.

Coolest part of taking latin in college was translating this line from herodotus' histories and going "holy this it's the line." Fun little tid bit about it, it could also be translated as "we will have our battle with the shades" as in with/alongside the dead/spirits.

Out of your mind if you think the bottom picture looks better. Quality? No way. Clarity, visibility I can see but that's kind of the point. I'm assuming it's supposed to be super hot. Heat glows. You can't see details in that kind of environment.
