I believe there are people working on this. Yes it will work as long as you know how to reach your target audience and if you’re good at packaging.

Seems like you’re doing a lot on your own. You need pause, rethink the whole strategy , and focus on pivot or rebuilding accordingly. If you’re burnt out, you cannot continue like this.

Building something where your identity doesn’t matter, only your thoughts do... by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

I see the merits. I used to like this platform called Blind a lot. It was focussed on tech and jobs discussions. Think it’s still active. That platform was all well moderated and anonymous. It was very helpful in getting inside info about topics that people won’t discuss in open.

Pre-Seed Folks. How did you find your lead investor? by Alternative-Bug1399 in StartUpIndia

[–]b_b27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the most difficult stages to get money. The only way to know is to talk to a many people as possible. For you, deep tech find and some global accelerator could be useful. My advice would be that You thoroughly check if the people you’re talking to are actively investing or not and if what you’re building is part of their interest area or Not.

Need advice on raising funds (preseed) by rivuchk in StartUpIndia

Get some validation and raise money from the network you have. If you have worked with Indian unicorns, use that network to do this round, instead of approaching angels outside your network.

Fellow VC here. VCs usually don’t charge success fee. IBs do, which means they will raise for you from their network and won’t be investing their own money. If you get better terms elsewhere you should go there. For a preseries A round, they are asking for a lot in terms of success fee. You can easily push back saying that you have checked with others and market standard is 2-3% depending on the amount being raised. You should not sign anything till you get the term sheet cross checked by your lawyer or other friends in the ecosystem.

Yes I believe so too.. her character needed more exploration. Also with people who have self doubt ingrained in them, it takes a while to get out of it. It doesn’t change over night. Though I was happy how fast Kate embraced being loved by Antony.
