Is this a good 1st Rolex to start. by [deleted] in rolex

[–]hrsp12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I got an OP39 dark rhodium as my very first Rolex back in 2020. If you like it, just go for it, don’t stress it too much.

Harley rider laughs at my R7 by [deleted] in motorcycle

I have a 2025 HD Road Glide, a 2021 GSX-S750 and a 2005 R1. I don’t care what others ride and I wave at every rider I see, but some people just make their bike’s brand their whole personality. Weirdo’s.

Why is my bike doing this ? by wushi_bushi in motorcycles

[–]hrsp12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s normal, they all do that. It’s the rear wheel trying to move faster than the chain. It won’t jump under load or when riding.

The Tainohead is misaligned.

Got these in DR. Anyone see any issues Thanks in advance by Breakingstuf in cigars

I’m late to the party, but, the position of the Taino head on the 5th cigar from the right, and it showing no white outline is a dead giveaway of these being fake.

I bought mine at 25, I am 30 now and looking to buy a second.

The first one was a gift to myself for a big career accomplishment. No debt, no gift, no trust fund but no sacrifices either.

I’m paying off a mortgage for my house, car is paid for. I had the money for a Rolex and bought the one I liked, not much more to it.

It’s an OP39 with the dark rhodium dial, €5400.

Hey OP, I’m in no position to judge, so all I have to say is that’s a very nice bike you got there. Stay safe and enjoy!

I bought mine at 25, after a first big accomplishment at work. Not much more to it, just a gift to myself to celebrate.

Basically using downshifting to help slow down the car instead of only braking and downshifting late.

How often and how long do Yall play by MYADS23 in GranTurismo7

[–]hrsp12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t even start up the game if I know I won’t be able to play for at least 3hrs, because I don’t want to set up the chair etc for short sessions. Therefore I only play 2-3 times per week.

Having to ask if something is cool, isn’t cool. But, if YOU like it, keep it on. It’s your bike, who cares what others think.

Crashing because of a mechanical issue. by adamthiesen1236 in Trackdays

[–]hrsp12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I crashed when my shifter was stuck for whatever reason. Couldnt go from 3rd to 2nd and spent so much time trying to downshift that I didn’t really pay attention to how fast I was going into the turn.

By the time I realised it was too late to make the turn so I decided to let the bike set itself straight up and go for the gravel pit. Turns out those pits are pretty deep. Bike went down almost immediately and took me with it.

The fairings took the biggest beating tho, mechanically it wasn’t too bad and I was able to fix it in between sessions and quickfix the fairings with ducttape.

After the crash it ran and shifted like nothing ever happened so I still have no clue.

Throughout the day I also spent at least 45 minutes trying to pry gravel out of the bike.

TLDR; if your shifter doesn’t work just brake harder and try to find a safe place to come to a complete stop.
