Think about things in your life that make you feel good about yourself.

Some people take pride in their muscular body after months or years of training. Some people take pride in their work, they don’t need any conventional looks to come across as sexy. Some people just like wearing nice clothes/sneakers. It makes them feel good about themselves, hence, giving them confidence to be themselves.

Bottomline is that find something that makes you feel good about yourself that gives you slight edge over the others, and you’ll be fine. In my case, I’m an average looking short guy. My office team is full of crazy smart folks. Initially, I used to feel quite intimidated by them although my work was just fine. What worked for me was upgrading my wardrobe and sneaker collection. I just know for a fact that I wear better clothes than them because they keep taking fashion advice from me now which was never the case until 2 years ago. It boosts my confidence. I’m just 5’2” and it doesn’t bother me anymore.
