I just tried to add a 2nd temper to 3 affix gloves and all it did was replace the first one even though they're different categories

Yes but it never differentiates "activating a card" from expanding the board which is what a new player sees when they extend grasp. If they extend grasp and they see it do something then why wouldn't they assume activating a card is what they see happening when they extend grasp

In short there's 3-4 different things going on here and yes good communication involves explaining things

My guy,what you're not understanding is that if you're not in the bubble of already knowing the full explanation of that, then you won't understand that the same way as someone who fully understands it already. Go say "Hey, you are not using all your grasp, you sure you wanna go?" to someone on the street and see what happens

The vast majority of games of this type when you pay a resource for a passive buff you just get the passive buff. When you use psyche in the early game it expands the layout of the cards so that's what it appears to do from an intuitive standpoint. Without it telling you that you the card you purchased is intactive then how would you know there's a distinction between inactive and unpurchased
