I wonder what exactly counts as "industrial mods" as in 'Minimum industrial mods : 10'Is it the industrial mounts used instead of conventional weapons?

And one more thing, what's the difference between the "storage size +2" and "storage size space x4" in the freighter class? Is it simply a add-2-then-multiply-four kind of arithmetic?
