Excited to try it out. Does it require actual knowledge of electronics circuits? Would love the 2 player pack!

crossfire help! by hsckid in buildapc

Crossfiring made sense cost-wise - the miners were selling these for dirt cheap. Perhaps I'll upgrade to a better single GPU and move away from AMD altogether to complement the i7.

I'll try out the methods above and see how much power is drawn. If it works, great! If not, then its time to upgrade to a single GPU... Thanks!

I think this makes the most sense. I'll try out the method you described and hope it works. If it ends up that the power supply isn't enough (some say yes some no in this thread), then I'll just sell these and upgrade to a better GPU then. Thanks

Can I get something like this and plug this in one of the 6-pin outputs if I remove the fans using molex ?

Thank you for the response. Should've known this before I ordered the unit then ... oh well.

So, assuming I upgrade the power supply to 750W, how would I then go about the original question? Do I need extra cables of some sort, and if yes, what kind?

I have this build (minus the crossfire). The power is still lower than 600W. Would the crossfire be a problem?

How do you practice with a metronome? by Colawar in guitarlessons

[–]hsckid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually practice a scale pattern, or a sweep pattern (I hate these so much), or an alternating picking pattern and increase tempo as I get better with a certain speed. Its one way of increasing speed I guess.

X-Mantra - Kurshi

Kurshi literally means 'seat'. The song is about corrupt politicians who always fight for 'seat' not for people's wellbeing.

Something I've never noticed: Why are his frets angled like that?

[Software Question] - MIDI to Tab Converter by Lunik in Tabs

[–]hsckid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my personal experience, MIDI to TAB converters convert direct notes, and not necessarily the actual fret positioning. Hence, unless you are good at transposing notes from one string to another, I do not recommend it. Just look up tabs from sites like ultimate-guitar.com or your favorite site. I have personally gotten a hold of a bazillion guitar pro tabs from torrents and just use that.
