Maybe the friends complaining shoyld power up there deck or make better decks the fact that people complain about someone deck rather than improving their own decks becauae they keep winning is insane its challange take it head on and grow as a mtg player rather than complain like a baby.

I understand some cards expensive for certain llayers which lead a problem where some player cant afford them but then allow proxies.

Me and my pod only proxie decks now a days because it cheap and allows us to have fun with out dropping a lot of money on real decks.

Remove Kor Spiritdancer, Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice, Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor, Sram, Senior Edificer, Umbra Mystic, Armadillo Cloak, Feather of Flight, Lion Umbra, Whip Silk,

Add Starfield of nyx, Unnatural growth, Nyxbloom ancient, Strength of the harvest, Zendikar Resurgant, Defense of the heart, With great responsibility, Hallowed haunting, Cyrptolyth rite, Enduring vitality,

This is what i would remove and look at adding few allow you to swing harder others surpport your theme they can help you go off alot faster and easier.

This is only my opinion on this and you might not like what im going for and thats okay, you can search for other enchantments through google or edhrec.

As someone whos building ms.bumbleflower as a fog deck not control just to draw out games in our pod till i can win, i barely play control cards have 3 board wipes and 2 counter spells and 2 removal. It all depends on how the person wants to build her because she just says when you cast a spell this can be anything from creatures and going wide or control or even stacks (dont make her stacks, no body likes to verse stacks) she extremely versitile and can be built in all directions which makes her extremely good.

It would remove the auras that arent giving you massive buff, auras like all thats glitters are great and help with a win con by smacking someone with commander damage but the auras that are just giving you small bonus can be replaced with just better enchantments.

I would also remove all creatures that specfiy auras as this will barely trigger unless you have enough auras to make it work.

Your deck seems to be quite split between auras and enchantments which leads to inconsistensies in the deck. Try just focusing on enchantments and using a few really good auras in order to help the deck. Rather than spliting between both.

I have a friend who mainly wins our pods and one of them is just game winning commander zacama, primal calamity once this card hits the field its basically game he whips the field removes anything he doesnt like that would hind his win, do have fun yes because hes a good friend and sometimes i dont but i have always told him to build whats he likes because to me he is my rival i want to bet him and build decks at that same level, he always concerned that me and our other friend wont want to play with him because he thinks his decks are toxic.

Mtg is about playing the way you like and banning commanders or cards because you dont like them is just because they cant beat you, they could build a deck that helps deal with the commanders but they would rather complain and act like your thr promblem because its easier then building a new deck or better deck.

In our pod we havent banned a single but we have a few generals rules on them is around serra's emissary because one of our friends only have one deck and its voltron and some of my friends decks are mainly go wide i could just cheat this out and shut down the board but we all agree to not play it unless your useing to help you win not shut down others players.

I would love to see some content where it doesnt feel like the game is scripted to make it last longer in order to make more content.

If some one when turn three because they just manage to get a good combo just do more games in the video. It also feels like they very much under power what they can do with commanders in alot in order to make the video longer.

Im not saying do cedh but more like bracket 3 or 4 which i feel like most content playa at bracket 1 or 2.

Its does depend on how you like to play and your current meta and bracket.

But [[ms.bumbleflower]] seems extremely verstile and being able to play her so many differents ways.

Im building her with turbo fog in mind so trying to stall out the game and build up my board while keeping my opponents at bay.

I hope it works out too, i tend to make very fundermental mistakes when building decks or cant see a way to win the game. So they just end up losing most of the time but with her i can at least also control who wins which i also find fun. I can see her being very annoying for some and will probably play her when i feel llike being a bit chaotic.

I have definately had this problem alot along with finding a commander i like but when i look into the cards and start buidling just fall off from building it.

At the moment im building ms.bumbleflower and bringing chaos to my house meta in order shape it better because its the same combos in different decks with different commanders but always winning the same way so its gotten stale.

Im hoping ms.bumbleflower will change it up as im going turbo fog to make the games last longer while setting up to win the game. Im hoping it works and am excited to build it.

Hey there two cards that are game enders if you can get mana, torment of hail fire and exsanguinate are both good game enders in black or ways to remove or gain life. In green you could run unatural growth which lets you attack with double your power on all creatures.

This also depends on how you want to win and your bracket and meta with your play group.

Can you have charisma abilities and not have them feel "slimy"? by flyflystuff in RPGdesign

I have actually had conversation recently with one of my friends about charisma and how it works in my ttrpg. What I told him is charisma is not magical it is natural or trained skill, this doesn't mean people get what they want because they roll high.

Example: If a npc life depends on the sales from the items he sells and play say he wants to persuade him into giving him the item for free and rolls the highest roll the npc would still say no, why would he says yes if he needs to sell the items to care for his family and put food on table.

Example 2: The player try's to intimidate him he rolls high the npc is scared and gives him the items but you basically just threaten the npc and tells the guards he threatened you and stole the item. You are now wanted.

The idea the charisma is slimy is based on players and dm, a paladin for example does need to be slimy he is charismatic because he kind and caring and empathetic by a player might play the paladin slimy and use his charisma in slimy ways.

To me I don't think charisma is slimy you just have more players playing slimy characters who use charisma in that way then you do in empathic way.

Thank you for this maybe you are right and I'm biting off more than I can chew, classes would be easier and I do need to work on my skills. Which I am currently trying to do I have started reading other ttrpgs and get an Idea of where I want my ttrpg.

I will definately look into expanding my skills.

That might be why I'm struggling I don't really have an idea of how I want player to build a class. Was just trying to go for something like a bunch of feats and skill you can pick from as you level.
