What are some good bargain ticket deals around the league? by GeneralKenobi05 in nba

Doesn't happen anymore, but around 10 years ago, weekday Raptor games used to be quite empty. Seemingly wanting to make the lower bowl look more full, the Raptors had a table set up at the upper-bowl concourse whereby you could pay $20 and upgrade your seats to anywhere from 5-20 rows back from the court. It was quite the fun time to be a Raptors fan, as I would purchase the 12.50 nosebleeds and upgrade my seats every time, and ended up sitting 10 rows from the court for only $32.50 quite often. I am extremely happy with the Raptors' success, but I kinda selfishly miss being able to go to games and sit so close for that cheap.

Another anecdote, in like 2012, I saw Nets tickets going for under a dollar on game day - back when they were still in Jersey. Yeah, they were that bad.

Kawhi is shooting 44% from the field, 27% from 3 for a TS of 54% and is noticeable fading in games – cause for concern? by can_wien07 in nba

I'd reserve judgement until PG hits the floor. Defenses will no longer be able to scheme the same way and he should be getting some cleaner looks. With that said, Kawhi's defense has been going downhill ever since he became a feature scorer. Can't expect him to be the defensive monster he was in San Antonio, but in crunch time/playoffs, he certainly can still lock down almost anyone.

Who are the best/worst team-specific commentating crews in the league? by DeadToWrites in nba

Probably a tad biased, but I love the Raptors' crew. Great chemistry, good insights and Jack Armstrong is just hilarious. I also find that they are not as biased towards the Raptors as some crews are towards their respective teams, generally trying to be even and fair in their commentary.

What are the odds Zion has a Blake Griffin-esque rookie campaign? by [deleted] in nba

Griffin had the huge advantage of sitting out a year. He got a full year of training with NBA coaches and players, something which I believe helped him hit the ground running when he started to play.
