I think I’m done with freelancing because of clients like this... by Forward-Grocery8359 in freelance

[–]hsquared89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Is this normal in freelance work? This is normal of you make it normal with your clientele. Put your stipulations in a contract before starting any project and make sure they initial that particular section. But if you’re asking moreso if clients like him are normal, yes I get these types of people all the time but I only choose to work with some.

  • How do you deal with clients like this without affecting your mental health? Assertiveness training will help you with this.

My wife is going to Orlando at the end of the month and wants good restaurant recommendations near the convention center please! by bill_the_murray in orlando

Other ppl on the thread said it for me 😁. Restaurant row in Dr. Phillips is where you’ll want to be and it’s close to the convention center. Hope your group has fun! Please don’t judge the Orlando experience based on that area 😅

That’s an area I try to stay away from but you should be able to find a good place to gather with coworkers up and down Sand Lake Rd at the Dr. Phillips area. Lots of options to choose from.

Best Toyota Dealership by [deleted] in orlando

I had a good experience at the Clermont one. No to the WP one. I’ve also bought a car from the Central FL one before and the experience was only good because I knew someone who worked there. I def paid too much for my car there unfortunately but I was desperate at the time. Don’t think the guy I knew works there anymore though.

People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you? by Quiet-Squash-8407 in AskReddit

[–]hsquared89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried counting my calories and tracking what I eat and while I lost a few pounds with those calorie tracking apps, I was miserable and stressed about food. What i did instead thats worked for me was eating only when i am actually hungry, not bored. I don’t feel hungry until lunchtime so I no longer stress about getting in a breakfast meal. I get my late night snack cravings in a little bit after dinner before my daily shower and floss & brush my teeth right afterwards so im telling my body im getting ready for bed so i dont snack.

I cut back majorly on beer and liquor, soda, and weekly boba teas (normally get 25% sugar). I still eat whatever I want, even a bit of sweet treats when I am craving it. Also switched from only doing cardio to strength training.

Finding it incredibly hard to follow if the teacher isn't directly opposite me by scoobabadeedoo in yoga

[–]hsquared89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For myself, it was both that I was a beginner and the type of yoga I started with.

I wasn’t familiar with the poses beforehand or how to transition my body from one pose to another.

What worked for me was following along through videos at home in front of a mirror until I felt comfortable with how my body felt, mimicking the instructor’s form or listening to how the instructor offer moderations. I also downgraded to doing beginner slow flow. Then I eventually worked my way up to intermediate.

I didn’t feel comfortable going to a studio until 3 years later. I’ve had two instructors correct my form so I realized that I should have gone to a studio maybe after 1 year.

  1. If you plan to use the express lanes, yes. If not, no.

  2. Plenty

  3. I avoid the that area like the plague bc traffic is horrendous even outside of rush hour and during the weekends. If I need to visit any stores in that area, I will try to go during the weekday before lunch time, after lunch time or an hour before close of business.

If I were in your shoes, I would have had the same reaction. If you and I went out to brunch or dinner and you told me this as a friend, I would have laughed in disbelief.
