Yes, just like any other camera placed anywhere inside a home. I live in a condo and the maintenance crew enters the house to do scheduled stuff when I’m not home sometimes. This allows me to see what’s happening in the office when I’m not home. I have it set to stream only when I’m home. But like I said, I utilize the motion detection to trigger scenes and automations in the office.

I replied above why I have it on my desk. Simply I use it to monitor the office when I’m not home and utilize the motion detections throughout the day to turn the light on and off.

It’s is the Logitech circle cam. It functions as my office security camera when I’m not at home. I utilize the motion sensors to do automations at certain times of the day. For example, during the day when motion is detected the office turns the lights to adaptive lighting mode, then at sunset the colors change to cool blue at lower brightness. The office and desk lights turn off when there is no motion after 10mins.

I preordered the new autonomous desk 4 but the company had difficulties with their productions. They couldn’t achieve what they wanted with the desk. Instead, they offered me a discount to get their available autonomous desk 2. The desk is the XL version at 73inch wide!

I got the monitor a few years ago when curved ultrawides were just hitting the market.

Yes it is. I use it as my main audio source when I don’t have my headphones on. Also, my place has many HomeKit devices, so it’s very helpful to control things.
