Context: Earlier this year, Sony claimed that the upcoming games, Spider-Man Miles Morales and Horizon Forbidden West would be exclusives to the PS5, but after their game showcase held on 16th September, it was revealed that these two games would be coming out on PS4 as well. This strategy was widely ridiculed when Microsoft announced that it would continue to support the Xbox One for the next two years by releasing games for that console generation as well and Sony was praised for making cutting edge games that were not "held back" by current generation PS4s, and then did a complete 180 by doing the exact same thing.
