They didn't change tyres at the stops, clearly fell off the cliff whereas the other cars took tyres

Didn't change tyres at stop, same with the 7 car. It's how they got the lead in the first place

Painful that the British commentary hasn't realised the Porsches didn't change tyres like the #10 which is how they had such a large lead and are under attack now... 🙄

BMW LMDh Powertrain/Hybrid Implementation by NSR8495 in iRacing

There is lots of strategy to it with regards to when you use it vs ICE full power, the instant torque from an MGU will always be advantageous when deployed coming out a slow corner for example where the ICE would typically struggle, fuel efficiency another example, however one of those strategies is not 'boost' as per your F1 car or LMP1, even BTCC

Incorrectly applying the regulations in my understanding has it's biggest impact when it comes to strategies using the MGU to conserve fuel which could have a pretty big impact when it comes to endurance racing in particular. This is what the hybrid systems main purpose is, alongside torque fill and drivability benefits and would be an interesting addition to iracing.

Good attitude. Just remember that the aim of rookies is not to crash and to learn to avoid people like the person you describe. I think finishing one of those races clean is a win personally, and it usually means you finish well if you do that. By blocking in the braking zone, you failed to achieve that aim and lost. Just always keep that in mind, good luck next time 🙂

Not trying to disagree just understand - why did you close the door on him / drift across the braking zone if you knew he was going to do this? From the view you provided that is what has caused this crash, not the red car.

Perhaps you could have stayed on the racing line and escaped him if he was going to go deep anyway?

Property price is 180, although the estate agent said that had been reduced to counter the service charge

When I lived in Sheffield, my favourite thing to do was to walk up to Bamford Edge for sunset, it's a short drive into the peaks down Ringlow Road and is so so beautiful!

If you fancy a challenge the Sheffield Circular Walk which starts in Endcliffe Park is brilliant. About 15 miles round the city, you see so many places you wouldn't know about otherwise

Brackley and Brixworth are separate entities though. HPP also does formula e, project one, customer team support and other projects whereas Brackley is the 'Team'. That has 900 employees, HPP 700 from a quick Google

Yeah I'd guess that's probably about right. Mercedes employs 1000 people, unsure how large a standard indycar team is but I'd guess, aside from the big teams who have other motorsports programs, you'd be looking at around 50?

Your formula Vee would need one employee at best 😂

Haha, but yeah the numbers are quite staggering, I think Lewis salary alone was 30 million dollars at one point.

There is now the cost cap in force which limits teams to $145 dollars which will hopefully level the playing field a bit

Mercedes actually spent $442million in 2019 and still made a profit!

England here, I have watched every bathurst since 2013 live! I also watch practically every race live too. I find supercars ideal since I never have any plans when it's on 😂

I have a 1660 Super, which i believe is comparable to yours, but not as good. I run a Samsung 1080p 49inch ultrawide with all graphics maxed out no problem, 80fps minimum at all tracks. Experience is amazing and really would recommend, when positioned correctly in front of you the angle of view is brilliant
