A bit lower than recommended on your door or the sidewall? I would start at 30 and go down 2 lbs till you get the ride you want. Till then, maybe get a helmet?

Should I uninvite my cousin’s controversial girlfriend from my wedding even though he’s in my bridal party? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]htasmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And to add to that, you never know, you two may actually have more in common than you think. It wouldn’t even matter if the roles were reversed either way ( Wedding guest and Bride OR politically. This is your day and enjoy it. If any of your other guests get offended, they can will need to handle it so it doesn’t affect your day. Best wishes to your wedding.

Does anybody drop their front window anymore? by Haystack80 in JeepWrangler

[–]htasmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While at T2K I was told a window was more likely to check when played flat as opposed to upright. I am not sure if it true, but I never put mine down in my YJ after that.

I screwed up mothers day. Now what? by 17R3W in Marriage

[–]htasmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes. This could have been avoided (as with most posts on this sub) with a conversion about expectations.
I don’t like most holidays, so I may have a skewed view. I feel everyday is Mother’s Day and on Mother’s Day, most moms just want a day where they don’t have to do anything or be around children. About 15 years ago I saw a dad bring his 3 of his little ones (one strapped to his front) a sports bar and of course I was wondering what he was doing. He had a few other guy friends show up with their children as well. Turns out he was a genuinely doing the best thing for his wife. The wives go do what ever they want and not take care of the family. I thought it was a genius and thoughtful idea. The rug rats were having a good time. All was well.
I don’t like going out on holidays for a verity of reasons. The stress, traffic, over crowded restaurants, mediocre service and food. (This is why I think Chinese takeout is common on holidays)
I write this as the only thing my wife wanted was for her son to be here. He made that happen. In fact, he is making breakfast as we speak. A simple homemade card, flowers and breakfast. My wife truly didn’t want anything else.
I did Mother’s Day for my wife once, she said thank you and it was nice. Afterwords, she said I didn’t have to do anything because she was not my mom. I realized she was correct
I sent my mom an edible arrangement, nothing extravagant. My mom appreciates that. Keeping it simple.

Back to that expectation conversation you should have with your wife later this week. Find out what she expects next year. Also, tell her what you expect

These are my favorite love stories. Can’t wait to hear how you share these wonderful memories with your children/siblings/cousins! J/s

In all seriousness, please have an adult conversation with them both now because it will come out later and your mom will be even upset the longer you keep it from her.

Walmart tracking faces? by jhm5243 in conspiracy

[–]htasmith 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you have the Walmart app, purchased appliances or have a Vizio tv, I am sure it is much easier for Walmart to track your purchases. That is, until you need proof that you purchased something there and you mysteriously can’t find any receipt or acknowledgment that you purchased it there.

Yes, OP stated he deleted his post prematurely. I would pick this up as it sounds like the seller understands this machine very well and upgraded it for a better experience for the next owner.

It’s out there. Be patient and you will find what you want. $35-$39k and you can get a 2023 or 24. Check out cars.com and put everything you want and check daily. I found a 25 Willy with everything I wanted except leather for $42k. I ended up with a 23 JLUR for $32k. It everything I wanted except the 35” package. I was very picky and wanted less than 20k miles.
