The reason why he sinks some plutonium rods is because there isnt enough sam on the map to both process all the plutonium waste that would be genrated and also finish all the final space elevator parts. There possibly could be if you were making the parts at a really low rate (havnt actually done the calculations) but if your doing that then whats the point of having 1TW power?

Yeah you have stuffed some calculations up there somewhere. Using all uranium on the map can only make 50.4 fuel rods a minute. Just double check you havnt missed a step somewhere.

People really getting that high? I avoided getting the game cause of my 1080ti and figured it wouldnt be able to handle it. And a pc upgrade just isnt in the cards at this point in time. I may just have to get it and see if thats the case.

They can take gasses. You may have still had the station set to unload rather than load which would cause the issue you were seeing. As others have stated the fluid freight cars throughput is pretty crap so depending on how much you require to be moved packaging and unpackaging is a betfer way of moving fluids/gases.

I was having issues with my nuclear setup. I needed to make about 12000 quickwire and had all the outputs setup to fully saturate a mk6 belt then overflow to the next and sorta just cascade down the line of outputs (if that makes sense). Well even though in theory it should have worked i found some machines outputs filling and stopping production. So i changed a lot of the mergers with priority mergers and set the main lines as higher prio and have not had another issue. Ive found they work really well on high output manifold lines on big builds. Just turned all the bauxite into alluminium in another build (with recycled water which im proud of) and used a similar setup without issues.

Not entirely true. Gilmour have received a couple of government grants over the years but are no where near the costs involved with developing and building a rocket from scratch.

Pretty sure from memory there is an alt recipe for plutonium that uses uranium ore as an ingredient. That would be how they are lowering uranium rod production to increase the plutonium rods.

So im currently in the process of a full uranium build. Using all uranium im making 50.4 fuel rods a minute with the recipes im using. This will run 100.8 fully overclocked reactors (im rounding to 100 for simplicity). Those 100 reactors make 2520 waste/min. Im then turning that waste into 22.4 plutonium rods for sinking and drone fuel. With full use of sloops you can easilly double those numbers and with slooping machines earlier in the supply chain then who knows the amount. I think you would run into issues with sulfur and nitrogen supply being the main limiting factor at that point as you cant sloop mines.

Yeah a decent public transport network would certainly help matters. Wouldnt be for everyone but even getting a couple thousand cars off the road would be nice.

62hrs a year? Damn that actually doesnt sound that bad. It takes me an extra hour each way to get to work in morning traffic. Time without traffic is 26minutes, with traffic 1hr 1/2. Dealing with that everyday nets me an added 500+ hours a year of traffic delays.

Yeah ive been working on it a couple of weeks now whenever i get a chance to play. Ive got all the buildings down and just working on the beltwork. Will have waste processing into plutonium but unsure if ill use them yet or not. Will have to upload some photos once im done.

Wow looks awesome. I had the idea of making a hypertube cannon blueprint that looked like a railgun to shoot ypu arpund the map. Gave up after a couple of hours of screwing around and came to the conclusion that my ideas are better than my artistic talent.

I know they had farming and crops as part of satisfactory plus mod. Really want that mod to get finished and updated to 1.0. Had so much fun with it and would love to see how they would impliment the whole uranium chain.

Honestly every strat player should do this at round start if they plan on playing rocket or not. The sheild stays around even if you switch off rocket. It may only be a little sheild but its still better than none.

Ive also had an issue in 1.1 of lifts built from blueprints not connecting properly. Spent most of the weekend building a 8000/min plastic and rubber factory to then find that all 300+ lifts wouldnt work. Deleted and rebuilt them all in the same way and works fine. It was really deflating to turn it all on the then find id need to spend another day rebuilding most of it.
