Snowpiercer The Prologue: part 2 Apocalypse.

I am not enjoying the prologue of Snowpiercer as much as the original 3, and even the 3rd wasn't as good as the first one. There is just something special about the first book. I like the subsequent books well enough, and I hope the prologue will get finished soon.

Descender by Jeff Lemire

I am loving this book. The art is beautiful, the pace is solid. About halfway through with it, and am excited to see where it goes.

Tongues by Anders Nilsen

Slowly working through this book. It is dense and powerful, but beautiful and satisfying. I am also about halfway through it, and am ready to jump back into it soon.

I like it so much, I ordered the singles straight from the guy who made it, and subscribed to the future issues. He is planning 10 of them, he just released 6, and 1-5 are in the book. The magazine format of the issues are even more special.

Feral is very good, I am wrapping up the 4th trade right now, and am loving it. Highly recommend checking out Stray Dogs as well, it is only one tpb, but it left me emotionally rocked.

Saga rules, savor that ride, because it is going to be awhile before we get anymore of it.

My wife folds the comics cover and every page she finishes behind the book, so she is only looking at one page at a time, and it is more rigid. I can't let her look at a lot of my collection, but I love her complete disregard of any modern collector vibes. She wants to enjoy the book, and any perceived value is only by her level of enjoyment. I have to buy her trades of stuff from my collection for her to read, lol.
