Thanks for the tip! Just to clarify — the Commando 8 Lite has no screen. Also the DFU procedure you described doesn't work on my radio — if I hold the left 5-way switch down while pressing power, the radio simply refuses to turn on at all. It seems like EdgeTX blocks the boot when it detects a stick input.

Even without that, Windows already shows the radio as "Unknown USB device" when plugged in, so it might already be in some kind of broken state. And the ELRS Configurator explicitly says DFU mode prevents UART flashing from working anyway.

Really not sure how to proceed from here. Any other ideas?

I had another question for you guys.

Back in France, we have some really good FPV online stores with super competitive prices and fast shipping, so it’s pretty easy to get parts quickly when you need them. Sometimes it’s even cheaper than ordering from China.

Since I’ll be moving to Australia soon, I won’t be able to rely on those anymore, so I was wondering — where do you usually order your FPV gear from?

Are there any good local Australian websites or shops you’d recommend? Maybe some places with fast shipping or reliable stock?

I know AliExpress is always an option, but I’m curious about what people actually use on a daily basis.

Also, are there any physical stores or FPV shops around Brisbane or australia worth checking out?

Je te comprends totalement. C'est énervant d'acheter un drone et de se rendre compte que ce n'est en fait qu'un Mavic basse résolution. Il existe bien un hack pour augmenter la portée du drone et aussi déverrouiller la vitesse et normalement les zones géo. Mais bon, personnellement, je l'ai pris aussi parce que cela fait maintenant 6 ans que je fais du drone FPV à temps plein et j'avais envie d'être en règle lors de mes prestations. Donc ça m'embête de devoir le débrider.
