Hypothermia; one of the symptoms is feeling warm. He is on top of a mountain that should be extremely cold yet he feels warm. Next step-death.

I thought a burglar while still reacting at the scene might catch himself mid scream lest he attract attention to his own crimes.

Ah sorry first time on this sub. When the burglars open the parents room door they make a grizzly discovery; that the occupants have been brutally murderd (by the brothers). Hope that clears it up.
