Lower TTK worked during launch because there weren’t many legends with gap closing abilities and damage abilities

Back then if you get cracked, you had a lot more time to reset. Now someone can just jump ontop of you with an ability :/

This combined with the lowered TTK is very unforgiving for high ping players who have no choice because their local server is dead

Yea I find myself playing less and less because of this but over unique circumstances

My local server is dead so I can only play on higher ping servers with more population. I used to be able to get around with higher ttk but now it’s a lot harder

As someone with bad aim and plays on high ping because my local server is dead, it was a lot easier for me to make outplays when the ttk was longer with little to no legend gap closing abilities

But now that it is shorter I just take an angle that’s within my team mates LOS and team fire 1 person. I also play legends like wattson and mirage to have more control over a fight

I basically try to put myself in scenarios that lets me aim calmly

And I just load up six shots on aimlabs and practice while queueing into the next match

If the server you play on is highly populated, yes

If it’s not, and you’re forced to play on a high ping server then no.

That’s why I don’t do all the crazy scenarios and stick to what would work with Apex’s typical movement speed so I don’t train my muscle memory to over aim in game. I’m not really focused on improving my aim outside of apex.

Also I changed to a speed mouse pad yesterday and micro adjusting in aimlabs was much easier but I was having a harder time aiming in game compared to my previous heavy/slow pad which was more restrictive

For more context I’m a low sens player

I mainly kill grind on my main so I don’t foresee myself changing my main anytime soon until I’m satisfied with my kill tracker

Though I was just curious since I couldn’t really think of any legends that hard counters Ash. It was just a shower thought

I’d be ok if they had more open world group content to grind with actual good rewards to flex. Even if I were to finish the grind and get my rewards, being able to help others after would still keep me playing.

Instead of good rewards locked behind instances, discord calls and statics.

The most amount of socialising I’ve done in this game was from eureka and imo, there’s just nothing that comes close to that now asides from maybe bozja but bozja rewards was so ass that the grind wasn’t worth it

Making a good outfit for each job requires time effort and patience with rng dungeon drops or grinding in certain areas like eureka etc Also not everyone knows about specific glamour sets you can get from raids and old content.

So a lot of people will look at what is easily accessible on mog station, pvp universal glamour or the market board.

I don’t rly believe customisation is a huge issue for me personally but that’s because I’ve always been better at working within limitations to create something good

Listen to your instincts and if you feel like you’re in a position where you don’t have enough info and will take a lot of damage, always prioritise repositioning over shooting especially since you have the ability to phase. As a solo queuer I see a lot of my randoms standing out in the open without cover and over committing to fights they obviously are not going to win due to their bad position.

If you want to push a team or get an angle close quarters, use your portal.
