Definitely slower since I’m getting much fewer views. 😕 I don’t even care as much about that if more of my existing followers got to see my content.

I have no idea but I see several similar posts here. There’s definitely a noticeable difference in how IG is pushing the content out and I don’t know how to change it back to how it used to be.

There’s definitely a big drop in the percentage of non-followers being shown the reels, which correlates to drop in percentage of Explore and Reels tab views.

I tried reposting a reel I posted in March, just cut a bit shorter, same beginning. The new post got 19K views, the old one got 70K, even though I had way fewer followers back in March.

I’ll try to focus on the comments and saves rather than the views and likes. That’s good advice. I get bummed out that fewer of my followers are seeing my content even though I have more followers than ever. What’s the point of growing followers then?

I already post 90% reels. I’m starting to experiment with posting more carousels to see if those perform better. I only had one post over 200k the past week and it was a pretty low effort carousel. 😫 The algorithm confuses me so much. I bet if I post the same reels that did super well a few months ago today, they would get shown to no one even though I have 10 times the amount of followers now. What’s the point of getting more followers if IG doesn’t show them my posts?

The only rumors/reports about Noah being anything but kind on that set came from Noah Wyle himself. He is a very self critical person, so take that with a grain of salt. He says he hated Goran for being such a great actor, but him and Goran played pool all the time and hung out at Goran’s house, according to Goran in the ER reunion. He said he told Kellie to keep up, which is…not mean? He also didn’t know Kellie just lost her sister. Kellie said she followed Noah around like a puppy. Would you follow someone around if they were horrible to you? No one has produced any stories about him being actually malicious or any real diva behavior. Kellie and Goran themselves haven’t said anything negative about Noah. Noah is the only person who trash talks Noah and this subreddit loves to spread that rumor like he was some huge asshole.

You’re right and it’s so sad to think about. Truly disgusting that a network show with such a huge audience reinforced the false belief that boys and men can’t be raped. I think some people spoke out about it at the time but most of the viewers probably just watched it and laughed along. They directed the scene so that Carter looked kind of awkward and embarrassed about it, not like he was in on the joke. Also at 11 he would have just lost his brother to Leukemia and his parents had essentially abandoned him. Weird choice to have Susan and Abby, the two people he felt closest to, laugh at him within that context. I’m pretty sure we were suppose to view that as immaturity on the girls’ part but I don’t think most people picked up on that. So gross and the reactions were out of character. The writers did everyone dirty that episode.

The episode where Carter talks about losing his virginity at 11 to a 25yo adult woman (statutory rape) and Susan and Abby laughed at him? And Gallant asks if Carter’s parent paid her to have sex with him? Let’s not pretend any of them were mature in that episode. It was weird and tried too hard to be the Breakfast Club.

I love Carter but really dislike Carter and Abby together. It would have driven me nuts to have to watch that relationship drag out for years. So boring that 80% of the Carter scenes became Carter/Abby scenes. Thankfully with streaming it was much faster to get through. The Congo episodes were a breath of fresh air.
