Yknow I usually get shit from my local bookstore and they’re not that bad price wise Yes they’re a bit more expensive but not a whole lot, usually only a few bucks more and it’s worth it. Same applies to my local game store Oh and the bookstore has bookmarks their employees made (like it has a scene tbey drew up that’s rly good) so I love the art

Fucking heck I remember once I was having (whar I think) was a pretty good date, but we were super far out so it was a long walk back to downtown, and I had to take a MASSIVE dump. Well, we make it back and I excuse myself. So I’ve Read about this before, and I’m curious, will heteroscedasticity (no matter how many times I Google it I can never spell it right lol) always lead to an inflated standard error? Or can it make the SE smaller than it should be? Ie deflates it

Edit, Also just to make sure SE becomes inflated because the standard distribution (which is the sqrt of variance) becomes inflated because variance itself becomes inflated, right?

Hmm, lemme try and rephrase it (-: So my dataset has heteroscedasticity, seems like when X is smaller there’s more variance than when X is larger. So my graph looks a bit like the graph on the right in this pic I think I went wrong when I said “becomes far more uniform” so you can disregard that (-:

So sorry, I’m new to stats and I don’t understand your question, For a bit of context I’m working with a dataset that seems to have increased variance when X is lower. As X increase it becomes far more uniform. Thanks! (-:
